How to use
Vegan Ingredients
- 140ml plant milk (we like g/f oat)
- 60ml vegetable oil
- 2tbsp lemon juice
- 1tsp vanilla extract
Standard Ingredients
- 3 medium eggs
- 140g salted butter
- 1tsp vanilla extract
Vegan & Standard Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180c (160c fan) / 356f / Gas Mark 4
- For Vegan recipe, add all wet ingredients to a bowl and mix, then pop in the sponge mix
- For Standard recipe, soften butter for 30secs in a microwave, then add into bowl with eggs and sponge mix
- For a good workout, use a hand whisk and beat together well, otherwise use an electric whisk to combine
- Once smooth, pour into a greaseproof cake tin and put in the oven
- Bake for 35 mins, then remove and let it cool for 5 mins
- Take out of the tin and cool on a rack until it’s time to decorate!
